Frequently Asked Questions
What is the cancellation policy?
If you pay in full when you register and cancel more than one week before the event, you will receive a full refund minus a 25% handling fee. If you cancel less than a week in advance but prior to the day of the event, your payment is nonrefundable but may be used to attend another event. If you cancel the day of the event, or do not show, your payment is nonrefundable.
What do I need to bring? Do I supply my own art materials?
In general, Pathfish Studio supplies all art materials except journals for SoulCollage and visual journaling. You will receive an email with specifics in the week prior to the event you will attend. For all events you might consider bringing the following items:
- comfortable shoes for moving and standing
a water bottle, to stay hydrated
a notebook or a journal, if you think you might like to take notes or write between sessions if note already needed for the specific event you are attending.
Unless otherwise indicated, meals are not included with your workshop. You’ll need to bring or purchase your own. There is no microwave, on-site utensils, or food preparation supplies. You are welcome to stay in the studio to socialize, eat and continue with your art during breaks. There are a range of food options within walking and driving distance of the studio.
What communication can I expect after I register?
You should receive:
- an email confirmation within a day of registering
a receipt from the studio, and
a reminder in the week before the event with all the information you need, including how to get to the studio, what to bring, and an agenda.
If you don’t receive one of these notices, or if you have any questions about the program for which you’ve registered, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Who may attend?
Events at Pathfish Studio, unless otherwise specified, are generally suitable for adult participants. While we offer a safe creative space and encourage expression that is grounded in each participant's current experience, the work as presented is most easily engaged if one already has a degree of life experience and self awareness. Yonger participants may attend with a parent or guardian after discussion about the content and potential dynamics of the event.
